On February 11, 2025, the Lianyungang Industrial Investment Group hosted an SPU project scheduling meeting at our company. Focusing on the general goal of “efficiently advancing industrialization and ensuring the product’s timely market launch,” the meeting carried out special deployments around the collaboration of production, education, research, and sales, targeting the difficulties and obstacles in the project’s advancement. Ding Rui, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Municipal Industrial Investment Group, Zhang Liulin, General Manager, Deputy General Managers Liu Chengzhi, Chen Rujun, relevant department heads of the group, Professor Wang Xu’s team from Shandong University, Guo Song, General Manager of Shandong Zhengu New Material Technology Co., Ltd., Zhang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Spandex Company, and project team members attended the meeting.

At the meeting, Professor Wang Xu of Shandong University and Zhang Bin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of the Spandex Company, respectively reported on the small-scale test progress, pilot preparation, existing problems, and next work plans. Guo Song, General Manager of Shandong Zhengu New Material Technology Co., Ltd., exchanged views on the establishment of a market special team and market development plan.
Chairman Ding emphasized that the project team should focus on key links such as environmental protection, equipment debugging, raw material supply, and capital support, carry out project-based tackling, and ensure the completion of the first batch of sample production by the end of April. The project team should reverse-plan the schedule, clarify time nodes and responsible persons, increase pressure on themselves, raise standards, and fully sprint towards the project’s production target with a pragmatic work style.
Relying on the advanced technology of the National Colloid Materials Engineering Technology Research Center of Shandong University, the SPU project has broken through the foreign technical barriers in the weather resistance of flexible materials. The product can be widely used in sports, new energy, medical, and other fields, with broad market prospects. Taking this meeting as an opportunity, the project team will fully accelerate the production and efficiency of the SPU project, injecting new impetus into the enterprise’s high-quality development.
